On the 18th and 19th of September, West-Coast Gothic returns to The Alhambra theatre in Morecambe, for another weekend of woefully wonderful Gothic entertainment, courtesy of BATS IN THE ATTIC. The sister event for the annual CORROSION FEST which is held in March, here Bats returns for it's fifth anniversary!
Not only celebrating all-things black and gloomy, but this year we go bride and groomy (I acknowledge how questionably I've worded that, we'll move on), as aside from the weekend line-up of bands, we'll also be celebrating the joint stag and hen do's of Tim & Caroline. Who are these people you may ask? It matters not, come along, have a beer, enjoy some of the Morecambe seaside, enjoy an array of international bands and try to avoid any cockles getting caught in your fishnet garments.
Both nights will have afterparties DJ'd by THE GOTHMARINER and VICTOR HELSING to keep you vibing like creatures of the night. There will be in-house merch available, as well as stalls set up by each artist to grab your shirts, CD's, vinyl, stickers, you name it. To get you in the mood, I've personally gone through the entire catalogue of this September's line-up, (So many hours) to compile this unofficially official Spotify playlist, for BITA26 hand picking songs from each artist.
